Romantic Movie QuotesRomantic Quotes from your Favorite Romantic Movies
I like to use the best romantic movies for finding choice romantic movie quotes to use in my own romantic letters. They are full of great love quotes as well as passion quotes that really help set the mood for romance. That way, half the inspiration is already taken care of. Romantic movie quotes can be used as a "jumping-off point" for your own romantic writings.
Ian Wyndham: "I Love you." Samantha Andrews: "Ooh I Love you too." Ian Wyndham: "I wanna tell you why I love you." Samantha Andrews: "It's... It's raining, you know that right." Ian Wyndham: "I have to tell you this and you need to hear it. I loved you since I met you, but I wouldn't allow myself to truly feel it until today. I was always thinking ahead, making decisions soaked with fear... Today, because of you... what I learned from you; every choice I made was different and my life has completely changed... and I've learned that if you do that, then you're living your life fully... it doesn't matter if you have five minutes or fifty years. Samantha if not for today, if not for you I would never have known love at all... So thank you for being the person who taught me to love... and to be love." Samantha Andrews: "I don't know what to say." Ian Wyndham: "You don't have to say anything... I just wanted to tell you." Ian Wyndham: "I adore you." Samantha Andrews: [with tears in her eyes] "I don't wanna be adored! I wanna be loved."
Alexander Andrews: "Oh, er, do you mind if I ask you a question, frankly? Do you love my daughter?" Peter Warne: "Any guy that'd fall in love with your daughter ought to have his head examined." Alexander Andrews: "Now that's an evasion!" Peter Warne: "She picked herself a perfect running mate - King Westley - the pill of the century! What she needs is a guy that'd take a sock at her once a day, whether it's coming to her or not. If you had half the brains you're supposed to have, you'd done it yourself, long ago." Alexander Andrews: "Do you love her?" Peter Warne: "A normal human being couldn't live under the same roof with her without going nutty! She's my idea of nothing!" Alexander Andrews: "I asked you a simple question! Do you love her?" Peter Warne: "YES! But don't hold that against me, I'm a little screwy myself!" Ellie Andrews: "Have you ever been in love, Peter?" Peter Warne: "Me?" Ellie Andrews: "Yes. Haven't you ever thought about it at all? It seems to me you, you could make some girl wonderfully happy." Peter Warne: "Sure I've thought about it. Who hasn't? If I could ever meet the right sort of girl. Aw, where you gonna find her? Somebody that's real. Somebody that's alive. They don't come that way anymore. Have I ever thought about it? I've even been sucker enough to make plans. You know, I saw an island in the Pacific once. I've never been able to forget it. That's where I'd like to take her. She'd have to be the sort of a girl who'd... well, who'd jump in the surf with me and love it as much as I did. You know, nights when you and the moon and the water all become one. You feel you're part of something big and marvelous. That's the only place to live... where the stars are so close over your head you feel you could reach up and stir them around. Certainly, I've been thinking about it. Boy, if I could ever find a girl who was hungry for those things..." [she comes around the blanket "Walls of Jericho" and kneels by his bed] Ellie Andrews: "Take me with you, Peter. Take me to your island. I want to do all those things you talked about." Peter Warne: "You'd better go back to your bed." Ellie Andrews: "I love you. Nothing else matters. We can run away. Everything will take care of itself. Please, Peter, I can't let you out of my life now. I couldn't live without you."
"If you can't fall in love with your best friend, then who can you fall in love with?"
"My angel, my all, my very self- Why this deep sorrow where necessity speaks - can our love endure except through sacrifices, through not demanding everything from one another; can you change the fact that you are not wholly mine, I not wholly thine? My heart is full of many things to say to you - Ah! -- there are moments when I feel that speech is nothing after all -- cheer up -- remain my true, only treasure, my all as I am yours; the gods must send us the rest: that which shall be best for us. Though still in bed, my thoughts go out to you, my Immortal Beloved, now and then joyfully, then sadly, waiting to learn whether or not fate will hear us -I can live only wholly with you or not at all - Be calm - love me - today - yesterday - what tearful longings for you - you - you - my life - my all - farewell. ever thine ever mine ever ours" I Am Sam "All you need is love."
