Most people I know cite this as one of their favorite of all romance movies. What is it that makes it so romantic? Certainly the chemistry between Harry and Sally is fabulous. I like the honesty and frankness that they express to one another because they are "just friends". It is the slow building and deepening of their friendship through the years that seems to make their love union so strong and so inevitable. Delicious!
A love story built on a misunderstanding, While You Were Sleeping proved that Sandra Bullock could carry a film. She plays a transit worker who pulls commuter Peter Gallagher off the tracks after he's mugged. But while he's in a coma, his family mistakenly thinks she's Gallagher's fiancée, and she doesn't correct them. Things get more complicated when she falls for his brother (Bill Pullman).
A light romance. Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman are cute in their insecure and awkward way as the identity charade falls apart.
