Barbara C. Burgess, deputy editor at Romance Writer Magazine and a romance novelist, was born in Paris, grew up in Montreal, and has travelled extensively in India and Europe. Her romance novellas are set in exotic places, such as the Himalayas and Italy. Her young adult paranormal romance, The Magic Manuscript: Book One – Voyage to Eve Ilion, was published in the USA in June 2011. Her novellas, A Weekend on Monte Bianco and Suzanne and the Maharaja’s Son were published in Romance Writer Magazine. “Paranormal Romance for the Young Adult Market” and “The British in India: A Story of History, Romance, Tragedy, and Intrigue” are two recently published articles. She writes a monthly health column and acts as a judge in writing competitions.
